Our 24" Viking Shield Blank has unpainted field. The center boss is made of 20 gauge steel and riveted onto the shield. The hand hold is made of oak. The hand hold is attached by rivets. The shield is 24inches in diameter and is constructed from 1/2 inch thick wood.
